Studies are for you. Whether young or old, stay-at-home mom or corporate executive, single or married, man or woman—studies are for you. Studies give you a place to learn the Bible and grow with others so you become more like Jesus and are better equipped for the mission.
Core studies are designed to equip both men and women with comprehensive biblical and theological training. Men's studies and women's studies offer an environment in which you can study God's Word and explore its application with other men and women.

Systematic Theology III
How can we recognize a true church? How do we seek and use spiritual gifts? When and how will Christ return? What is the millennium and when does it occur? What is hell and what is heaven? If you’ve asked questions like these, systematic theology is no abstract term. It’s an approach to finding answers every Christian needs to know. This study is the third and final part, covering doctrines of the church such as baptism, communion, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as doctrines of the future such as the return of Christ, the millennium, and the new heavens and new earth.

Humility: True Greatness
This winter, beginning the week of January 13, all small groups will do a special book study as part of the men’s and women’s breakout time, centered on a discussion of Humility: True Greatness by CJ Mahaney. If, when you hear “book study,” you’re thinking small groups will be taking a break from application and accountability, you’re mishearing! The plan is certainly not to break from these things during this time, but to pursue them with laser focus on a specific topic—humility. James 4:6 says that God gives grace to the humble. The more we’re humble, the more we receive the favor of God upon our lives and our church. That’s an astounding promise! Let's eagerly pursue its fulfillment among us.
If you want to be a part of this book study but you're not yet in a small group, now's the time to get in one! Email Terry Horne, director of community life, at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can get in a group.
