RHYTHMS OF LIFE ICONS

WHAT DO THE ICONS ON MY DASHBOARD REPRESENT?

The icons represent the rhythms of life at Christ Church, which are our primary means of discipleship. You’ll find a brief explanation of each icon below.

WORSHIP IN SERVICES
We gather for unashamed worship of God, believing that he deserves our highest praise and we need his transforming truth.
This icon will light up when we see that you’re regularly joining us, based on communication card submissions, checking in to serve on a team, or checking a child into Kids.

LIVE IN GROUPS
We believe few things are more vital to spiritual growth than regular and intentional community with God’s people, around God’s word.
This icon will light up if you’re on the roster for and regularly attending a small group.

SERVE ON TEAMS
God calls his people to engage in the greatest of all causes, namely, to glorify him by using their gifts to help others know and love Jesus.
This icon will light up if you’re regularly serving on a team.

LEARN IN STUDIES
Studies give you a place to learn the Bible with others, so you become more like Jesus and are equipped for the mission.
This icon will light up if you’re registered for a current study. It will change color when the study season has ended.

GIVING
Giving is a biblical principle. It’s one of the ways we worship God as the giver of all good things, using the resources he provides.
This icon will light up if you’ve given at least once in the past three months.

BAPTISM
We believe that baptism by immersion is the best way to express your faith and follow Jesus’ command.
This icon will light up after you’ve been baptized by immersion at Christ Church. If you were baptized elsewhere, we’d love to hear about it and look at updating your profile.

MEMBERSHIP
A member at Christ Church is someone who has completed the required steps in the membership process, beginning with attending a Consider meeting.
This icon will light up if you’re already a member at Christ Church. If you’re not yet, be sure to join us for our next Consider meeting to learn more.

OTHER FAQ’S

  • No. While some may be able to engage in all our rhythms at one time, we recognize and embrace the fact that every person is in a different season of life, with varying abilities and availability. You should look at unlit icons simply as acknowledgement that opportunities exist for you and encouragement to take advantage of them as you’re able.

  • This tool looks for records of your engagement at Christ Church across multiple platforms in order to reflect the most accurate information available. When records are under a different name (or version of your name), a different email address or phone number, or haven’t shown activity in a little while, we might not be able to match them to your profile. Please help us get your information up-to-date by letting us know about anything that is inaccurate, and by continuing to engage with us through our app and rhythms of life.

  • The information reflected in your profile is based on what has been provided to us up to this point. Sometimes information we’ve been given varies, for example, when someone at one point enters a nickname in our system and another time uses a full name. Or when a person uses more than one email address. We’re always looking to improve what we know about you, so we can know and help you better. If you see something that needs to be corrected, please be sure to let us know.
